Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Torbit account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Torbit.

2. The service

Torbit is an autonomous content pipeline that harvests signals from public sources, generates draft posts in your voice using AI, and — after your explicit approval — posts to X / Twitter on your behalf. The service requires valid X API credentials and a paid subscription.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. A valid payment method is required to start a trial.
• Trials last 2 days. You will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel.
• Cancellation stops future charges. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, then the account moves to Starter (limited) mode.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months.
• We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for all content published through Torbit. Review drafts before approving them.
• You must comply with X's Developer Agreement and Policy and X's Terms of Service.
• Do not use Torbit to spam, harass, or post content that violates platform rules.
• Keep your X API credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your credentials.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Torbit to:

• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent.
• Artificially inflate engagement metrics (coordinated inauthentic behavior).
• Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Torbit API.

6. AI-generated content

Drafts are generated by AI and may contain errors, outdated information, or unintentional resemblance to existing content. You must review all drafts before approving them. We are not liable for any AI-generated content you choose to publish.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you create and publish. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the pipeline on your behalf.

8. Uptime and availability

We target high availability but make no SLA guarantees. The pipeline may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or due to upstream provider outages (X API, Cloudflare, Anthropic). We will not issue refunds for outages outside our control.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Torbit, including account suspensions by X, lost revenue, or data loss.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, including violations of the acceptable use policy, with or without notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing dashboard.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
